Conjuring Ke$ha is the new paranormal Discovery+ offering hosted by none other than, you guessed it, Ke$ha. We know what you’re thinking, how real can it be if a celebrity is hosting and not some actual paranormal investigators?
That’s the thing though, Ke$ha actually seems to have done her homework when it comes to the supernatural. She doesn’t go in like a novice, she actually employs a lot of paranormal investigators on her team that while yes, they end up doing a lot of the research in question, they also end up helping her and allow her to do her job of following along in what seems to be a pretty informed way of doing things.
Why are we sleeping on Conjuring Ke$ha?
You would totally expect Ke$ha to be your typical Hollywood starlet, and let’s face it on a few investigations she fits that stereotype perfectly (like when she ran out when they said a demon might be afoot… but… it’s a demon so we can’t actually blame her there.), but for the most part, Ke$ha does pretty well on these investigations.
We do realize that Ke$ha is a trained professional and has some on-camera experience so some of it might be her star power coming through, but whatever it is, it actually works? This show, as far as paranormal shows go, is pretty interesting, in spite of only having 6 episodes so far.
Some fans may wish for Ke$ha to just go back to her musical career instead, but, you know, while she’s here she may as well have a little fun and diversity in her career. Music is great, but sometimes you have to branch out, besides, no one ever told Demi Lovato, who’s had a talk show, a reality show on Peacock, and several self-made documentaries, that she should just stick to music so perhaps Ke$ha is trying to diversify in that vein.
Either way, so far her show has been a fun and interesting jaunt into the paranormal and for that we can thank her and the team over at Discovery+ for deciding to take a chance on this one. Stay tuned!!!
