It looks like Wendy Williams still needs a little “me” time. There’s a new report that says the talk show host will be continuing her hiatus from work. She was scheduled to return to The Wendy Williams Show by next Monday, but has postponed that date. Here’s what you need to know.

The Wendy Williams Show’s production company, Debmar-Mercury announced that the talk show will begin airing originals beginning October 18th “with an exciting lineup of guest hosts and panels to be announced shortly,” according to an announcement.

The production company did not mention Wendy’s alleged mental health issues in its statement, but revealed that she “continues to be under medical supervision and meets with her medical team on a daily basis.”

“She is making progress, but is experiencing serious complications as a direct result of Graves’ Disease and her thyroid condition,” the statement continued. “It has been determined that more time is needed before she is able to return to her live hosting duties.”

The Wendy Williams Show released a statement last month saying that she was dealing “with some ongoing health issues and is undergoing further evaluations.” If that weren’t enough, TMZ also reported that she was voluntarily hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation.  Her brother Thomas Williams, Jr. gave ET Online an update on his sister.

“I did speak with Wendy, she’s stabilized, she’s doing alright. You know, I can’t give all the blow by blows. I told her I’ll never proceed her voice through the show,” he said. “But I do thank you all for all the kind words, I really do believe and have the faith that Wendy’s going to make it.”
