Wendy Williams has slammed Wells Fargo on the basis that they are preventing her from accessing her funds.
Wendy Williams Cries For Help In Trying To Access Her Funds-‘I Want My Money, This Is Not Fair’
This all started after Wendy’s previous financial advisor Lori Schiller had reportedly led Wells Fargo to believe that Wendy was of unsound mind. As a result, Wendy was prevented from accessing her money unless she had a guardian.
Although the star came out to state that she was fine, it did not stop her from continuing to face problems. And she let the whole world know in no uncertain terms that this treatment was out of order. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Wendy shared a video expressing just how frustrated she was by it all.
She said: “My thing is that I’ve been asking questions about my money and when I begin asking questions about my money, suddenly Lori Schiller has got no response regarding my money.
“I want my money. This is not fair.” If these comments are taken to be true, then it is very significant for the following reasons. First of all, it is very reminiscent of the treatment that Britney Spears was subjected to during the course of her conservatorship that lasted over a decade.
During this period, Britney had her funds controlled on the basis that her mental health was not in a good place. Secondly, this could also lead to a situation where Wendy decides to pursue legal action if this continues. And by the looks of it, she is not going to tolerate this treatment any longer.
She added: “Please let me have access to my money. This is not right, and again, this is not fair. Have a pleasant day. Thank you.” The response on social media was mixed. A certain subset of people sympathised with everything that she was going through.
Meanwhile, others felt that it was just deserts given she had slammed Britney over the years. One person wrote: “After how she bashed Britney and called her trash for disrespecting Jamie all those years I couldn’t even give a flying flamingo about Wendy.
