Welcome to Plathville: Is Olivia Telling The Whole Truth?
Since the new season of Welcome to Plathville began, Olivia has been accusing Ethan’s mother of credit card fraud. She has shared more about it on social media and now it looks as if all of the Plath children, aside from Ethan, are siding with their parents and not Olivia.
Olivia told the story on the new season and mentioned that Kim had used Ethan’s credit cards without his permission. When Barry Plath found out that she had made these claims, he wanted to confront her. She asked him to reimburse Ethan for the charges, but he refused to do so.
Then Olivia changed all of Ethan’s passwords and made it even more difficult for Kim to get to her son’s credit cards and money. Kim was furious and made claims that she had a business arrangement with her son and that Olivia shouldn’t have anything to do with it. Of course, Olivia claims that Kim is lying.
During the latest episode of the show, Moriah Plath got incredibly upset with her brother and sister-in-law. She had actually been living with them and felt that she needed to move out in order to salvage her relationship with her brother.
She cut ties completely with Olivia, who used to be her best friend. This was heartbreaking, but she knew that she had to do it before things just got worse. Olivia got home from a trip to Europe to find that Moriah had left and the entire family had turned their backs on her and Ethan.
Barry also made the claim that Olivia had “brainwashed” Ethan and that he was very worried about what would happen to his son if he continued to stay in his marriage to Olivia. With all of this family drama, Olivia knew that she had to speak out to her fans.
She took to TikTok to explain her side of things. She told her fans that no one has seen the full and real story and that TLC edited so much of the context that it did make her out to be the bad guy.
Olivia also added that “Ethan was about 16, Kim signed him up to be part of an MLM company. He wasn’t allowed to access a computer to change any passwords.” There is a lot of speculation when it comes to Olivia’s stories.
A lot of viewers feel as if she is trying to cover up her lies by claiming TLC edited the show too much. However, there are plenty of fans who believe her, but we will have to see what happens as the show unfolds.
