‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers finds that apparently it was time for Micah Plath’s 20th birthday, it seems he is exactly one year older than his sister, Moriah. Micah made the decision to come over to his parents’ for his birthday dinner because as it turns out Micah did something extra stupid and lost his license due to speeding, an act which he says has totally hampered his social life and now he has to resort to getting around on a 4 wheeler.
Gotta say this makes one worry for his modeling gigs and acting classes, but more the gigs because acting classes can be done online.

Kim and Barry said that originally Micah held a lot of resentment toward them but that he came to the realization that if he’s holding resentment in about Kim and Barry then the only person that he’s hurting is himself and that is what their hopes are for Ethan and Olivia, which led to a really interesting detour about how loving and tolerant the Plaths are… yeah. They went there.
Although, my own pet theory is that Micah ultimately just wrote Kim and Barry off as ‘set in their ways’ and ‘what Mom and Dad don’t know won’t hurt them’ and that seems to be a philosophy that is working so far for Micah.
At this 20th birthday celebration, Kim and Barry laughingly told him that while 18 is when you become an adult, 20 is the age at which you become a responsible adult, to which he replied, “So that means I can’t do stupid stuff anymore?”
I think there was some low-key shade thrown in there about losing his driver’s license but hey, 20 year old guys are going to speed. Then they started a good old-fashioned scavenger hunt, which led Micah all over the house finding his gifts… however one in particular meant the most, and that was little Mercy’s gift.
She gave him her own birthday money of $25 first because she knew he needed it more than she did. Mercy is the youngest Plath, and it really touched Micah because he said “Mercy, you must have worked all year for that.” to which she replied “No, it was just my birthday money.” blessed is a generous heart, Mercy.
He also ended the evening (an evening of which he racked up $285 total) by saying that Mercy’s gift meant the most to him. Indeed. That was one of the sweetest things we’ve seen between the siblings so far. (And hey, look at all that TLC money!) Stay tuned!!!
