‘Welcome to Plathville’ spoilers find that during their session, learning about Tantra, Olivia brought up an interesting point. She said that if Ethan established more boundaries that she would feel safer.

Ethan admitted that the biggest regret of his life was that he didn’t take up for Olivia when his parents were humiliating her before and she said that moment still rings every time in her head when he doesn’t take up for her.

I felt so bad for her, she was crying and asked Ethan not to look at her. When Triambika (I am totally guessing the spelling of that name) asked her if she wanted to share her feelings, she said she didn’t.

‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers: Establishing Boundaries

I can see why Olivia was reluctant to open up, after all, Triambika (I’m with Ethan, who names somebody that?!) is a complete stranger. It can’t be easy, even though Triambika was completely non-judgemental about the whole situation, having someone bring up what you think is and isn’t right about your relationship.

Ethan was afraid he would fail this portion of the test, first he thought that they would be given homework assignments and then be led to one of the beds to ‘bang it out’ (no, it’s not that type of show, Ethan!) but Triambika actually asked them things, like she asked Olivia what she truly appreciated about Ethan, she said it was his humor.

Then when asked what Olivia was to Ethan he said she was everything to him… if we thought Olivia was going to melt at this moment, we were dead wrong because she literally said “That’s not good” and then told him that he had to be someone outside of her. Sage advice but… come on, that takes a lot of guts for a guy to say.

Triambika told her to just breathe that particular compliment in, I think her asssement of their relationship is spot-on though. They truly are very young, and still learning what it means to be in love with another person.

They’re also discovering things about themselves, and that can change a person along the way. It’ll be interesting to see what changes Ethan and Olivia go through during this season. Stay tuned!!!
