‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers finds that besides Max, we didn’t know that Micah Plath had any other friends, but on this episode we met a guy named Marley who, unlike Micah, had a very different and decidedly more mainstream upbringing.
Micah said that formerly when his parents would choose friends for their kids (because that is a thing in the Plath family) they would only choose people that had similar walks of life to them. Micah said that he didn’t like that because he liked meeting people of all different walks of life and said that in order to become your true self you have to be exposed to all kinds of people.

Marley is someone that he met while working in the auto shop (Do they all work at the same auto shop? Or is there more than one branch? Do they all work at different times? What’s the deal there?), and Marley is a gamer.
Apparently he had an extra gaming console lying around so he decided to give it to Micah, who has never played video games before at all.
He came over in order to hook it up to the TV and wow, tell me you’re broke without telling me you’re broke, Micah, the college-age guy trick of putting the TV on the couch and sitting on the floor was just.. top tier. He did say that the wall-mount in his room was busted though, so perhaps he’s just waiting until he can buy a new one.
He said that since his driver’s license has been suspended he’s been spending a lot of time in Cairo and Marley is the guy that’s been helping him out and driving him around (where was Marley during his date?
Let’s ask the important questions!), but he also said that spending that much time in Cairo has a sort of bad effect on him and makes him lose ambition to do modeling and acting.
As someone from a small town, it is pretty easy to lose one’s ambition when one’s dreams are grounded by simple things – such as lack of transportation. Although… could someone please educate him on gaming culture and tell him to stay away from neckbeards? Please. Somebody. Anybody! Thank you. Stay tuned!!!
