‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers finds that of Kim Plath’s reluctance to embrace literally anything about daughter Moriah, on the latest episode of Welcome to Plathville she literally came all the way out of left field when she, after indicating that all of the kids had had voice lessons at some point, that she was actually kind of excited about Moriah’s music career?
You could literally see the excitement in her eyes, which, for a moment made her look like just any other proud Mama. But then you think about how much she’s judged Moriah over the years and you just wonder – what is she excited about, exactly?
‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers: So now Kim is excited about Moriah’s potential music career?
At this point, Moriah is not coming back to the fold. While she may be willing to work on the relationship between her and her parents, there’s no way that she’s coming back to their conservative lifestyle after experiencing a taste of freedom.
That’s just not possible. I hope Kim isn’t viewing it that way because if she is then she would just be sorely disappointed again, and Moriah doesn’t need that because it would set her back in her growth. Even if Moriah and the family Plath do manage to mend things, would Moriah even want to, say, record music with them anymore?
That seems questionable, since they railed against her forming her own little band involving Ethan, Olivia, and Isaac last year. It seems unlikely that Moriah would ever want to come back and do anything musically with her family ever again, so again, I don’t see why Kim is potentially getting her hopes up.
One hopes that it’s just the proud Mama talking, but with a big music career comes the potential of lots of money, and perhaps Kim would be looking forward to that part of the deal most of all. Again, I wouldn’t be getting my hopes up because right now, Moriah is reluctant to share her music with anyone, this would probably include and not be limited to, producers or any kind of professional that might want to hear her music, and that’s a product of being brought up in judgement, folks.
