Olivia does not see eye to eye with Kim Plath, the matriarch of the Plath family. She feels as if the Plath children are being sheltered and this is not the most positive upbringing that they could have. Tensions are high and we have heard these two share unkind words and action. Now Ethan and Olivia are having thoughts of leaving the family completely.

She and Ethan have started to give Kim and Barry some backlash about the way they are raising the kids and how they keep them away from technology and popular culture. Ethan recently opened up about how his parents have been treating Olivia and how they have no right to speak to her the way that they do.

Ethan and Olivia have been married for about nine months and now things have started to get dirty with the Plath family and Olivia. Olivia doesn’t like how his parents treat her and this had been a breaking point for her. She loves Ethan, but she cannot take the way his parents talk to her and about her. The two of them have decided that moving away from the Plath family may be the only option that they have at this point.

It seems that all of this drama started when Olivia wanted to take Moriah to California. This trip led Moriah, who is the oldest daughter in the Plath family, to see things in a different way. She had never even been exposed to the LGBTQ community and was shocked and impressed by it all. She has also been expressing her thoughts of going to college, which Kim and Barry look down upon.
With all of the drama that Olivia is stirring, we hope that she and Ethan can get away from the Plath family so that they can start enjoying their married life and perhaps begin a family of their own.
