‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers indicate that, in an interview with Us Weekly, Micah and Moriah Plath were asked about their older sister, Hosanna’s non-involvement with the show. Moriah gave a rather simple explanation that she got married young and moved off with her husband and she never wanted to be involved with the show at all. Fair, some people just don’t want to be on-camera.
There was a different narrative floating around awhile back that said that if Hosanna had agreed to be involved in the production that Ethan and Olivia would have bowed out. Neither Micah nor Moriah really elaborated on that, so maybe one day that’ll be Ethan’s story to tell.

When asked if they are close with Hosanna, Micah said, “To an extent.” And said that she lives in Ohio and basically has her own life. Of course the Plaths are known for being rather shut mouth when it comes to in-family problems, with the exception of Moriah this family is sort of like Mike Youngquist of 90 day fiance.
They won’t say a word and just let things fester between them. Ethan is just now learning, with the help of his wife Olivia, that you can’t always ignore the issues behind a fight, and to be able to try and talk things through and add things to his emotional toolbox. We’re glad.
Micah and Moriah seem to be a lot less messed up by their parents belief system and seem to be willing to embrace the world and all it has to offer, even if it doesn’t align with what they were raised. It begs the question though, is sister Lydia Plath the next to go?
Even though it seems like Lydia is pretty set in the ways of their parents, Moriah says that they have had a few sleepovers and when they do she lets Lydia go wild, at least with the beauty treatments. Lydia is a teenage girl, so its only natural that she should be wanting to experiment with all sorts of beauty treatments. That is perfectly normal.
