‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers finds that Moriah Plath and boyfriend Max, have been together a year, and she says since their first kiss last year (her first kiss ever) the number of kisses has skyrocketed, which can only be a good thing. Moriah looks so happy.
She is still living with her brother, Micah Plath, in a little house in South Georgia, not far from where her parents, Kim and Barry Plath live, and only a stone’s throw away from where Ethan and Olivia live. The siblings still see each other pretty regularly, since they are the siblings that are independent of the Plath household, so no parental say in that whatsoever, but I digress. More on that later.
‘Welcome to Plathville’: It seems Max has a surprise.
Since he and Moriah have been together a year and eventually, the plan is to marry Moriah, he has decided that he is going to get her a promise ring.
However, he needs Micah’s help, so he got with perhaps future brother-in-law Micah to devise a plan to distract Ma and Pa Plath so that he could ask perhaps future sister-in-law Lydia about Moriah’s ring size. He wants to get her a pinkie promise ring for her finger, but he doesn’t know her ring size so he’s going to ask Lydia. Awww!
However, the success of this mission will depend on how successful he is on talking to Lydia, and Lydia is… Lydia. Since she grew up Plath, who knows whether she will be down for talking with Max by herself or not?
She might feel a little weird talking to her sister’s boyfriend about such things, seeing as it’s just not a thing that’s done in those circles, but it’s not like Max has any sort of ‘in’ otherwise, except for Lydia. I mean, sure he could ask Kim Plath but who wants to ask Mom?
Kim would make such a big deal out of it and then Barry would get offended that he didn’t ask him for her hand first, I’m guessing. We’ll have to just see how the rest of the season plays out and the whole promise ring thing goes.
Still, it’s going to be interesting seeing Max and Micah pull off a true brother-in-law scheme together. Stay tuned!!!
