‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers reveal there was something interesting that happened during the latest episode of Welcome to Plathville, something that Olivia said when Micah and Helena came over. There was a note on the door that said, “If this is Isaac, you’re welcome.
If this is Micah, there’s no food in the fridge.” I don’t know if this is just wishful thinking on Ethan and Olivia’s part (considering Isaac does only live 0.3 miles away from them) or what, but the last time we checked, Isaac and the rest of the younger Plaths were not allowed to hang out with Ethan and Olivia unsupervised.
‘Welcome to Plathville’: Has this changed?
Kim and Barry Plath, well, most notably Kim, don’t seem to want to stop Lydia from hanging out with Ethan if she sees him outside of their house, but we haven’t heard of what the deal is with Isaac. Being an influence on Isaac has been a point of contention since Season 1.
Kim and Barry were so afraid that Ethan and Olivia, but mostly Ethan, was going to be a bad influence on Isaac (even though Isaac has pretty much said that he’s determined to go his own way eventually in all his confessionals) that they wouldn’t even let those two hang out outside Plath house.
So.. has anything changed? If it has, then nobody was notified of it. The Plath kids haven’t said anything, Isaac hasn’t said anything, neither has Kim or Barry, so was the note just a sweet little wishful thinking on the part of Ethan and Olivia? If so, that’s sad that Ethan couldn’t tell his brother in person that he was welcome at his house.
Although, I don’t know why Isaac would think that he was unwelcome, but you never know what’s being said by Kim and Barry once the cameras are off. Of course they wouldn’t say anything on-camera, but off-camera there might be, and probably is, a lot of animosity.
It begs the question if we’re going to get to see if Isaac presses the issue this season of wanting to hang out with his big brother before Ethan and Olivia move to Tallahassee. We’ll see. Stay tuned!!!
