‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers suggest that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) really did have his heart broken by Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
If he could get real with himself and with her, he could have a chance at happiness. But he is too stubborn to do that. He hasn’t really changed.

Y&R’s Ashley Abbott has returned to Genoa City after the chaotic honeymoon trip to Paris. The honeymoon did not go well.
When they were there, Ashley made the decision not to leave Jabot to start a business with Tucker. This infuriated him. He believes that she dashed all their plans together and isn’t putting him first.
For her part, she can’t believe that Tucker would demand that she give up her family for him. If he truly loved her, then he should be okay with her having a peaceful relationship with her family. His explosion in Paris terrified her and she said it was over.
Ashley stayed in Paris for a while and Tucker headed straight back to Genoa City. He put his plan into action to exact his revenge on the Abbott family.
Tucker wanted to get them back for hurting him and causing him to lose Ashley and their well-laid plans. He has also started annulment proceedings so that their marriage “never happened.”
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Got to Him
Y&R’s Tucker comes off as calloused and cold. When Ashley tries to have a discussion with him and find out what he is up to, he clearly tells her that he doesn’t trust her.
He knows that she will do whatever she can do to protect the Abbott family from him, and he has a plan to take their company for himself.
Ashley prods, wanting to know if Tucker ever really truly loved her or if this was all part of his plan from the start. Was winning her over again just part of his bigger plan?
He won’t really give her an answer about that. His “non-answer” is enough of an answer for her, and she accepts that he never really cared about her.
When Tucker gets outside, he breaks down in tears. He sobs about his loss. This is a rare glimpse of Tucker’s true feelings, and no one was witness to it. If he could have been honest with Ashley and expressed his grief at the loss of their relationship, perhaps things could be a little less acrimonious.
But he is hiding his pain, building walls, and planning one heck of a revenge on her. Do you think this will solve anything for Tucker?
