In the couple’s Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, Harry gets a message from his sibling following their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.
The Duchess is observed having a conversation with Tyler Perry on the phone while Harry stands nearby.
Later, Meghan is seen reading a statement from the deceased Queen Elizabeth II to her husband while they are sitting in their residence at Montecito.
Following this, Harry shows his phone screen to his wife as Meghan says: “What am I looking at, H just got a text from his brother,” as Harry replied: “I wish I knew what to do.”
The video clip shared by @thetvandmoviequeen on TikTok has garnered over one million views. This is understandable given that the nature of the text remains a mystery.
The couple have not since then expanded on the nature of it, which has left many people speculating what it could be.
Although the contents of William’s text message to his brother were kept private, the messages exchanged between Meghan and Kate Middleton were made public.
In his book, “Spare,”, Harry recounted how Kate had sent a message to Meghan regarding the alteration of bridesmaids’ dresses for their wedding in 2018.
According to him, Meghan informed Kate about the arrival of their tailor, Ajay, to Kensington Palace. However, he expressed dissatisfaction with Kate’s response and shared a supposed exchange.
One such message from Kate allegedly read: “Charlotte’s dress is too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on at home,” to which Meghan apparently replied: “Right, and I told you the tailor has been standing by since eight a.m.
“Here. At KP. Can you take Charlotte to have it altered, as the other moms are doing.” The response on social media was one of curiosity.
Large numbers of people began to speculate the nature of the texts and questioned why the couple would do such a thing without revealing the full details.
One person wrote: “They’re recording private moments and sharing it with the world.” The nature of the texts may not have been revealed, but it’s clear by the reaction that this could have been done to generate publicity.
