Lala Kent recently gave birth to her newborn daughter Ocean, but it did not come without its challenges, though.

‘Vanderpump Rules’: Lala Kent’s Pregnancy Was ‘So Scary’- She ‘Thought The Worst’

The star of Vanderpump Rules may have left the hospital smoothly, but if destiny had other plans, it could have turned out much worse. In an interview with Us Weekly, Lala revealed how worried she was given her body had started to break down. She said: “At six weeks, I was bleeding heavily, and I thought the worst because no one prepares you for that bleeding.”

And things came to a head, when doctors confirmed the worst. During an ultrasound scan, the hospital discovered that her daughter had stopped growing. There was doubt about whether this was a temporary thing or permanent. Those constant moments of anguish, alongside the never-ending wait, started to play on her mind.

She added: “I was going in every two weeks, which was really not normal, to make sure she was growing. She wasn’t growing crazy like they wanted her to, but there was growth.” In order to deal with the stress of it all, she relied heavily on her fiancé Randall Emmett. She was very vocal on the constant source of support that he was offering, despite having to deal with the thought that there was a chance that Lala could miscarry.

In addition to that, Lala was very open about how she began to pray for better news. But thanks to the doctors, she had a safe and healthy birth. She continued: “My doctors thought they were going to be delivering Ocean at 30 weeks, which was scary. It was so scary.” So how has she been enjoying her life since then?

As could be expected, she is cherishing every precious moment with her baby. By all accounts, her daughter is already taking after her mother. Lala is known for getting what she wants, and so it showed after her birth. She noted: “I went in at 8 a.m. on March 14, and she came at 6:45 a.m. on March 15. And [we] slept like a baby that night.”

It is great to see Lala starting a new chapter in her life. We wish her the best with that. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
