American rapper and singer Aaron Carter has sadly died at the age of just 34-years-old.

According to reports, he passed away at his house in California on Saturday, 5th November 2022. And as part of that process, it is alleged that his body had been found in a bathtub as authorities responded to a phone call by the house sitter suggesting someone had drowned.
As of now, an investigation is ongoing in order to determine whether or not this is going to be classed as a homicide as the cause of death remains unknown.
In an official statement given on behalf of the deceased, a representative said the following: “It is with great regret to confirm Aaron Carter was found unresponsive this a.m. in his home in Palmdale, CA. The family has been notified and will be flying out to Los Angeles.”
This news has left the family in mourning in more ways than one. Aaron leaves behind his fiancé, Melanie Martin, and his son Prince. And given that Aaron had been battling substance abuse issues through his life after having attended rehab, the death has been very hard to take.
He had previously admitted entering into rehab on a voluntary basis, so that he could win back custody over Prince. After all, he had issues with the following substances: marijuana and Xanax.
The fans on social media lamented this understandably difficult news. A subset of people felt that Aaron went way before his time and were worried about the impact that this may have on Prince since his father is no longer here.
After all, Prince was only born last year which is why he will not have any memories of his father moving forward. One person wrote: “Wow this hurts. I’m so sad for him and his young son. He was so troubled but not a bad person.”
