It has been recommended to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that they skip King Charles III’s Coronation in May to prevent them from drawing too much attention.

It has been confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex received an invitation to attend the Coronation, but they have not disclosed their decision to attend or not.
It is believed that the relationship between the distant members of the Royal Family has hit a new low after the release of the Sussexes’ Netflix series and Prince Harry’s successful book “Spare”.
According to Patrick O’Kane, a specialist in public relations and crisis communication, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are facing a difficult situation where they are criticized no matter what they do.
He suggests that Harry and Meghan should avoid the limelight and keep a low profile before the Coronation.
In his comments, he said: “With public opinion very much divided on whether the couple should attend King Charles II’s Coronation, there is a risk that Harry and Meghan’s attendance would steal the limelight on what should be a historical day not only for Royals but for the United Kingdom and the entire Commonwealth.”
The individual acknowledged that refusing the invitation may come across as disrespectful to the newly crowned King, but he did feel that stepping away from the public eye could be beneficial for safeguarding their brand.
He added that if attention needs to be regained in the future, a strategic plan would be necessary to persuade the individuals who have not yet firmly decided on their stance.
He stated: “The key thing for Harry and Meghan is to minimize their impact on a moment in Royal history at the start of May, but whichever decision they take, they may face a rocky road back into the limelight.”
Recent reports have also indicated that due to their ongoing conflict with the royal family, Harry and Meghan may not be invited to the highly esteemed Met Gala which is scheduled before Charles’ Coronation.
It has been suggested that their strained relationship with the royal family is the reason for their exclusion from the guest list.
Jordan James, another PR expert, confirmed as much: “It certainly wouldn’t come as a major surprise if they were snubbed given their current status within the Royal Family and the ensuing drama.”
