So, Vencer el Pasado spoilers reveal Renata hasn’t been well for a while. Almost since the beginning, we’ve seen her dealing with a weird tremor in her hand as well as obvious sudden pains that leave her doubled over. We thought there could be a weird pregnancy thing going on, as she’d just been left at the altar. But she has also been working on these kits to find genetic diseases, so there was the chance she had something else. Last time, we finally learned what’s up with her.
She’s having a problem with her Liver and needs a transplant desperately. As she’s been doing her best to hide her symptoms and working like crazy/stressing, it’s obviously made things worse and she has taken a long time to get help. So, a transplant is going to be the way to go.
The only issue there is, the doctor recommended she talk to her family, as someone close to her would be the best possible match (and would cut through the mess that is a waiting list). The problem is, Sonia Vidal de Sánchez (Leticia Perdigón) just had a surgery herself, and the family is in huge debt. So, Renata has been taking a hit for them all and is reluctant to give them the news.

So, we all know Lisandro Mascaró (Leonardo Daniel) has taken a bit of a liking to Renata. He even helped pay for her mother’s surgery. We think there’s a reason for this, and it will benefit Renata’s health. Recently, Boyer’s listing on the shows wiki was edited to include the name Alondra Mascaró Martínez. Notice the shared name?
The guy’s had an affair before, so we’re pretty sure she’s his daughter. And it’s likely this health crisis will bring that to the surface. Whether he knows this yet or not remains to be seen. We’d be tempted to say yes, given his behavior. But if so, where’s he been all this time? Why go out of his way to help his secret daughter now that she came knocking at Biogenelab’s door? So, that gives us pause.
But we do believe her condition will come to his attention and he’ll try to help by getting tested. This should be interesting when the truth comes out. Lisandro already has a son who resents him and is looking to take him down.
Meanwhile, his daughter is a lot closer to him, but she also clearly holds resentment as well. He’s a bit sexist and would rather she be giving him grandchildren than taking over the business. And she’s the one who caught him in an affair. So, having Renata as a secret daughter will definitely up the family tensions.
Univision Vencer el Pasado Spoilers: Tonight
As for tonight, Lisandro assures Javier Mascaró Zermeño (Ferdinando Valencia) there’s nothing to see here. He’ll tell him Norberto Correa (Eugenio Montessoro) is nothing but an opportunist looking to steal company secrets. Which Javier, by the way, has already provided.
Also, Renata will take the next step to getting a transplant. We believe, given how the last episode ended, Darío Valencia Grimaldi (Sebastián Rulli) will take an active role in her situation.
