Honestly, we see both sides here. We can’t blame Erik for being upset that she spilled the beans. At the same time, though, he had to know it was a matter of time, whether she stayed silent or not. After all, once can’t hand over all that cash and not have their family wonder where it came from. It’s a common novela thing. If you’re making a ton of money, you’re either a narco, or mixed up in something else shady. Well, that is, if you’re not already born into a rich family. And then you’re legally obligated to be a snob who looks down on the poor. Well, usually, anyway.

As for Renata, she continues looking for information about her past. We assume this is going to start with her looking up that list of people born the same day as her at that hospital. She will likely also be looking for that nurse who was there around that time.
