Univision Sin Miedo a la Verdad spoilers indicate Horacio Escamilla (Fermín Martínez) is in way over his head. And we’re not just talking about how he’s likely not a match for Manuel “Manu” Montero (Álex Perea). This is one bad guy who seems clueless about what he’s doing. Of course, he’s also got a good reason for being a bit dumb right now. Let’s see what went down…

Univision Sin Miedo a la Verdad Spoilers: Grudge match

So, in case you missed a recent episode, there’s a good reason for this feud to get worse. Sin Miedo a la Verdad spoilers indicate Horacio’s son recently died. Horacio accidently shot him during a firefight with Manu and the team. The kid ran outside at the worst possible time. He’s, of course, blaming Manu for this. He’s ready to do whatever it takes to destroy Manu. Unfortunately, we think he just went a little too far.

Univision Sin Miedo a la Verdad Spoilers: In over his head

We honestly don’t get how some people survive in the underworld in this shows. It’s a world where anything goes, and you can go from friend to marked in, like, two seconds. Why Horacio trusts anyone in La Mafia del Poder, we don’t know. But it looks like it’s about to be his undoing. Well, that and his greed.

With the recent operation to rescue Emiliano Lozada (Eduardo Yáñez), there’s been a bit of a hit to this organization. A lot of the top people were captured, and let’s not forget all the other lower-level people who were killed in the fight. This leaves a few job openings. And Horacio thinks he’s just the guy. Namely, he wants to be at the top. Why he’d think he should get that position, we don’t know. He’s a fugitive now. He’s also well-known to Manu and the team, plus he hasn’t had a great record of late.

But, there’s something he doesn’t know. Sin Miedo a la Verdad spoilers indicate he’s suspected of having something to do with another recent death connected to the organization. He’s basically a marked man. They’re using him to get some gold, and then he’s supposed to be murdered. What’s next?

Univision Sin Miedo a la Verdad Spoilers: What might happen?

Well, we think he’s going to have to humble himself. We don’t think the assassination attempt will work—at least, not yet. When he escapes, he’ll have few options. A fugitive can’t exactly go to the cops for help. Not without making some kind of deal, and he’ll get no help from anyone else, except possibly Soto (Jorge Navarro Sánchez). That means, he’ll have no choice but to cooperate.

That would be a fitting fate for this guy. He’s spent years apparently making Manu’s life miserable. He would deserve having to crawl on his hands and knees to get help from him. Of course, he might also be calculating enough to manufacture a case for “Gus”, Manu’s vlog identity that would lead him right into a trap. That might be the only way La Mafia del Poder would let him live.
