Univision Imperio de mentiras spoilers reveal the twists keep coming. We learned about a secret Julia Álvarez (Jessica Decote) was keeping.

Meanwhile, Renata Cantú Robles de Arizmendi (Susana González) kept bringing the drama and María José “Majo” Cantú Robles (Alejandra Robles Gil) did something desperate. Let’s talk about some need to know moments, as well as a personal highlight of the evening.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: Stalemate

First, Imperio de mentiras spoilers reveal there was a stalemate in Wednesday’s episode. You might remember that Sonia de Serrano (Sandra Kai) confronted Leonardo “Leo” Velasco Rodríguez (Andrés Palacios) about being a liar.

Well, he had the perfect response. He’d seen her with Marcelo Arizmendi (Juan Martín Jáuregui) and pointed out it’s likely best for both of them if they both keep quiet about what they know. So far, that’s worked. However, there was a lot of drama ahead with one member of the family.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: Drama llama

Of course, that would be Renata. It was massively awkward, but somewhat entertaining. She caused a huge scene at the dinner, asking why Elisa and Leo are together. Plus, she questioned why Eugenio Serrano (Alejandro Camacho) puts up with Sonia.

Seriously. She phrased it just like that, and we can’t. No wonder Victoria Robles de Cantú (Leticia Calderón) is not willing to hand over the company to her. There was more reason why later.

Because she caused such a scene, Victoria and Eugenio were busy apologizing while Marcelo brought Renata back to her room. She ended up taking a pregnancy test, which was news to Marcelo. As far as he know, she was taking birth control. Nice thing to leave out, right?

After it came up negative, she completely lost it, and Marcelo was forced to try to calm her down. He pointed out she’s apparently only been off the pills (the ones she threw away before) a couple of months. But she doesn’t care, and now she wants to die because she hasn’t popped out a kid yet. Wow.

This makes us both feel for her and her obviously fragile state, while also feeling just a little sympathy for the cheating creep. It has to be hell dealing with this girl, but we can’t feel too bad. It makes us wonder something, though. Was he always a cheating creep who wanted the family money, or if he got tired of her fits. It wouldn’t be the first time in a telenovela.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: Escape plan

In other Imperio de mentiras spoilers, Darío Ramírez (Iván Arana) made a bit of a mistake. He took Renata outside again after their night under the stars.

At the same time, he got a phone call from a crooked cop that’s working with him warning his co-workers have security footage from the day of the kidnappings. While Darío was busy talking, he left the door open and Majo took her chance to run away. We’ll see if she actually gets anywhere.

Likely, Eugenio won’t let her be harmed. But it might not matter if she escapes or not at this point. Darío’s obvious soft spot for her, and Eugenio’s orders, brought on a decision that could bite them all.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: Disgruntled

Pablo, the kidnapper who tried to rape Majo, got an earful about his behavior. He came back with his tail between his legs to ask for his job back. Not happening. Darío made it clear that he’s done, and ordered one of his people to kill Pablo if he dares to come around again.

Looks like Pablo didn’t take well to that. Later in the episode, Elisa was chatting with Fernanda Navarro (Michelle González) when she got a call. It was Pablo.

He didn’t identify himself, but he promised he could tell her exactly where her sister is. This could be a huge break for Elisa, but we’re doubtful it will be that easy. There’s no way they’ll rescue her sister this early in the game.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: Secrets

Elsewhere, Julia apparently had a secret. Justino Álvarez (Adalberto Parra), her father, had a private conversation with Leo. He said he’d found a plane ticket in Julia’s stuff.

One that went between New York and Mexico. Considering that’s where the galleries are, and possibly where the stolen artefacts went? This could get interesting. Justino asked him not to tell Nieves de Álvarez (Cecilia Toussaint), but did want Leo to investigate.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: Highlights

Meanwhile, we had two awesome moments tonight that brought the laughs. First, Fernanda got brought in for questioning. Imperio de mentiras spoilers reveal she eventually admitted to being Augusto Cantú’s (Enrique Singer) amante.

The way she put it, “I’m the only one—as far as I know.” was amusing and she doesn’t look to have much shame in this. Especially considering Elisa is her best friend.

Also not mincing words was Victoria. She apologized to Clara Álvarez (Alicia Jaziz) for the fit Renata threw and begged her to come work as Victoria’s personal assistant.

On her first day on the job, Victoria very causally asked how long Julia and Augusto had been sleeping together. We can’t wait to see how she handles this one, and what else Victoria might have in store for this poor girl.
