See, he’s the one messing around with Sonia de Serrano (Sandra Kai), Eugenio Serrano’s (Alejandro Camacho) wife. Marcelo wants Renata to sell her shares to Eugenio. After, it looks like he’ll mess with her meds and make her take the fall for getting Eugenio out of the way. Then, he and Sonia will get away with the money. Nice guy, right?
We see a complication here, though. She wanted to get off her meds and threw them away before. Hard to mess with meds someone tossed out. But, we think he’ll talk her into taking them again. We actually feel bad for her. She’s turning against the people who actually care about her and look out for her.

Meanwhile, there was a new twist for Fernanda Friday. We already knew she was having an affair with Augusto Cantú (Enrique Singer). Also, it seems clear the son she was forced to keep is his. But the latest episode brought her to the police’s attention.
It seems Augusto was sending a bunch of money to her account. So, now they are specifically asking about any other relationship she had with Augusto. This is screaming her getting accused of killing him.
Probably because she discovered him with Julia Álvarez (Jessica Decote) and got jealous. We wouldn’t be surprised, but it’s not going to be that easy. There’s obviously something way bigger here.

Finally, we’ve got Elisa and Leonardo. Imperio de mentiras spoilers reveal he followed her to New York. Elisa thought she was going to do one thing for Darío Ramírez (Iván Arana) and that would be it. She’d get María José “Majo” Cantú Robles (Alejandra Robles Gil) back and he’d even promised Elisa her sister would be waiting at the airport. He lied.
Later, she got a call saying there was more to do. This pushed Elisa over an edge and she begged Lorenzo’s help. We figured that would happen sooner or later.
Despite her tough act, she actually switched seats with a woman on the plane to sit with him. Then, she let him stay at her place during the trip. The only question we have is, how long can this team up last? Her uncle is the one who hired Dario.
He should know if she has a boyfriend or not, so we don’t get why the kidnapper bought that. If he was doing his job, he should have called in. That, plus the vibe we got during a scene between him and Majo make us wonder if he’s protecting her on some level.
