Elon Musk posted an image of what’s on his bedside table this week, including the Constitution of the United States, which he proclaimed to be the most valued item on the stand.

In a tweet from an account called ‘Musk University’ (which shares quotes from the renowned CEO), the public were unexpectedly granted a look inside his private space. In the image here, we can see a picture of the US constitution near the bedside table.

The post was captioned by the following comments: “The Constitution is greater than any President. End of story,” to which Elon replied: “May it always be so. It is the most treasured item on my bedside table.” Those comments are very significant for the following reasons.

First of all, it demonstrates what Elon has vowed to do what he promised when he took over Twitter. That was to ensure that there is an increase in freedom of speech. Secondly, this is something that Elon has stood by somewhat.

Musk recently divulged that he would resign from the position of Twitter CEO when the right person was found to fill the role. A poll was conducted by him earlier, to ask Twitter users if he should stay in charge, however, he lost the poll by a margin of 18 points.

The fans on social media, though, accused Musk of simply playing along to the crowd for clout. And as a result, people began to troll Musk with some very brutal comments. One person wrote: “Free speech only if the twit agrees with it,” while another person stated: “So he is trying to show off now?

“Cuz the last one was just trashy. Ya still can’t be president Elmo.” It is fair to say that Elon’s image has not gone down well, but he has shown time and again he will continue to do what he thinks is best.
