After a three-day trip to Europe that included stops in Ukraine and Poland, President Joe Biden had an interesting conclusion to his trip on Wednesday when he stumbled up the steps of Air Force One once more. After a covert flight from Joint Base Andrews, through Germany and Poland, and a restless 10-hour train ride across the border to Ukraine, Biden, 80, shocked the world on Monday by arriving in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Just two months into his term in office, in March 2021, the president made history when he fell up the steps of Air Force One. He also fell off his bike in June while on vacation for the weekend in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. If he decides to run for president in 2024, his age will be one of his greatest weaknesses, as Republican candidate Nikki Haley has already called for politicians older than 75 to undergo “competency tests.”
An 80-Year-Old President Biden Falls UP The Stairs Of Air Force One AGAIN
In front of 30,000 people on Tuesday, the American president gave a speech in the Warsaw Royal Castle Gardens. In his speech, Biden addressed Vladimir Putin’s remarks from his long-delayed state-of-the-nation talk earlier in the day. He criticized Putin’s assertion that the U.S. wanted to “destroy Russia” and asserted that the Russian president was solely to blame for the conflict in Ukraine.
Biden accused the Russian leader of war crimes on a colossal scale. But after the dark days of a year ago, at times it sounded like a victory rally. In a meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda earlier on Tuesday, Biden emphasized Poland’s crucial role in the Ukraine War, describing the support as “truly extraordinary.”
Of course, what everyone will be talking about is how the President fell up the stairs once again. At this point, it’s not a fluke and he is definitely too old to be taking part in such a crucial role in U.S. politics.
