The news has spread that now Eric Weinberg, the producer of the hit show, Scrubs, is being held on bail. This bail is at $3.225 million and he was arrested for assaulting many women sexually, between 2012 and 2019.

    True Crime: What Happened?

Weinberg was arrested last week by the Los Angeles Police Department and they are holding him on this incredibly high bail. Weinberg, who is 61 years old is now being accused of committing sexual assault, including rape against many women between 2012 and 2019.

It looks as if he would lure women into his home by telling them that he was a photographer and that he was looking for new subjects to photograph. Many of these women thought that he would be the man to get their modeling careers off the ground.

The release from the police says that he “appears to have targeted women in grocery stores, coffee shops, and other public places. Weinberg would approach the women who were in their 20-30s under the guise of being a photographer and would set up photo shoots with them.

Once the women were in his residence, he would sexually assault them during the photo shoot.” Police even think that he could have been doing so for much longer, dates even going back to the early 1990s.

Detectives believe that there are additional unidentified victims that have yet to come forward and the release from the LAPD encourages them to come forward if they were victims or if they know any other women who were victims of Weinberg.

These charges are not something that the LAPD looks at lightly. There are now multiple women that have come forward and pressed charges against Weinberg. The LAPD also posted the full release on their Twitter account.

Not only is Weinberg known for his work Scrubs, but he also worked on Veronica’s Closet, Californication, and Anger Management. Scrubs ran from 2001 to 2009 and was incredibly popular. There are rumors of a reboot coming to us soon and Zach Braff and Donald Faison will play a big part in this reboot too.

It is pretty upsetting that this man got away with this for so long, but it looks as if he will sit in jail and faces many years in prison if convicted. The LAPD hopes that more of his victims will follow through and testify and press charges against him. We will continue to monitor this case and update our readers when we hear more.
