Tristan Thompson posted a cryptic message on social media about ‘growth’ in the aftermath of his ex-lover Khloé Kardashian praising him.

Tristan has made many mistakes in his life, most notably the fact that he ended up cheating on Khloé numerous times, despite having a daughter (True) with her. But in and amongst that, the pair have managed to have a stable co-parenting relationship which has benefited True.
And that ultimately is what Khloé is concerned with irrespective of the past. That is why the Kardashian recently came out to praise Tristan for stepping up as a father. In her comments at the time, she stated: “He’s always going to be in my life because of True, and he’s a great dad, and that’s all I really need to focus on.”
With that being said, the timing of Tristan’s social media post was very key. The basketball player shared a quote about the importance of growth and leaving any negativity behind.
Tristan did not make any references to what Khloé had said about him, or the criticism he has received when sharing the post. But outside of an alternative explanation to the contrary, it could only be referring to the mistakes that he had made in the past.
In his comments, he said: “Growth requires us to leave something behind. It can be habits, careers, beliefs, even people. Make space for grief in the process of growth. You have to mourn your former life to make room for a newer you.”
Despite the positivity of the quote, the fans on social media blasted Tristan for his hypocrisy. This was on the basis that he had neglected his other son Theo, whom he had with Maralee Nichols.
Therefore, if he really reformed, he would be making more effort in that regard. One person wrote: “This little boy Theo, Deserves a hands-on and loving father just as much as the daughter of Khloé Kardashian. He seems to have totally ignored the child. I sincerely hope karma catches up with him.”
