Travis Scott is once again facing legal problems with reports indicating that he has been sued on the grounds that his album cover ‘Travis La Flame’ had been taken from someone else.

This is the latest sting in the tail for the musician following the Astroworld incident in which a reported 10 people were killed, as well as several others injured.

And given that he is being sued on that basis, this is the last thing that he would want to hear as it is hardly going to do his public image any favours.

Reports indicate that Mickaël Mehala, also known as Black Childish, has decided to sue Travis for stealing his art work. This is on the grounds that he had not given Travis permission to use it.

It is claimed that Mickaël had sent the cover photo to Travis via Instagram in a personal message in 2016. This was so that he could send it to his fans, which could only be based on the assumption that Travis was trying to get some feedback.

But after he had done so, Mickaël stressed that he did not hear from Travis ever again. And yet, his work was taken which subsequently led to Travis’ album going from strength to strength.

And this does not look good for Travis in light of the following claims. According to the court documents obtained by TMZ, Mickaël claimed that he “formally registered a copyright for the art in February 2019.

“He also says he was blowing up Travis and his management team about the issue, and finally heard back from one of his attorneys in the summer of 2019.”

If it is proven that Travis did do some wrongdoing, then the outcome is that he would have to payout a substantial amount of damages by way of compensation.

And if this does go ahead, it also sets the precedent for the Astroworld victims who would then have reason to believe that they could win their cases.

As of now, it is still early days. But given what we have seen so far, things are not looking very good for Travis at all. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
