Tom Brady had reportedly attempted to save his marriage prior to the divorce being finalized with Gisele Bündchen.

The pair ultimately ended up parting ways after Gisele had been dissatisfied with Brady’s decision to come out of retirement, which she felt came at the expense of spending more time with the children. While that may have been the case, it seems Brady had tried to win her over.
But any chances of that happening failed, which is why the pair have decided to put their children first when it comes to co-parenting. But by the looks of it, Brady preferred that this would not have happened in the first place.
A source confirmed the following: “[He] didn’t want the marriage to end. [He was willing to do] whatever he needed to do to fix things [and] make things right [since he] didn’t want the kids to have divorced parents.”
And as part of that process, it is alleged that Brady was even willing to undergo counselling. In addition, therapy was also being considered as it was clear that the star had a lot of things he wanted to get off his chest. But that failed to materialise on the basis that Gisele apparently thought it was too late.
With that being said, Gisele was the one who initiated the move to break up. The following comments confirmed as much: “She gave him a lot of opportunities to fix things, and he didn’t. [Tom was] busy following his passion.”
The fans on social media did not have much sympathy for Brady. A certain subset of people felt that he had nobody to blame but himself for his choices and the consequences that followed.
One person wrote: “He chose football over his kids his family after having accomplished it all. Is the goat. And still was selfish.” This is no doubt a major learning curve for Brady moving forward.
