The pair had reportedly fallen out on the basis that Brady backtracked on his decision to stay retired from the NFL. And as part of that process, it is alleged that he had promised his wife that he would be spending more time with the children.
Subsequently, Gisele went to Costa Rica on holiday in order to get some downtime. Meanwhile, Brady stayed behind so that he could concentrate on the new season.
But once Gisele returned, there was not an immediate reconciliation that people were hoping for. That is why there is still a long way to go. A source said: “Gisele was not happy when Tom un-retired from the NFL after such a short time. There is tension between them.”
Nevertheless, there are attempts being made in order to patch things up. This is very significant since a potential divorce is bound to impact Brady one way or another. After all, there is no denying that he would feel the impact of this in his career knowing that the family unit may have broken up.
Not only that, but his perception amongst the fanbase may deteriorate as he would be seen as choosing NFL over his family. And yet, there are measures being taken to see if these differences can be resolved.
The following comments confirmed as much: “They’re working through things and trying to come out the other side.” The fans on social media were not happy with Brady.
This was on the basis that he had achieved everything he needed to do in his career, which is why it made no sense for him to carry on. One person wrote: “Brady has nothing else to prove so why continue to play? The wife should be angry. Time to grow up Tommy.”
