TLC’s Newest ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spinoff finds that there have been a lot of rumors about a new show spin off series. With COVID-19 still circling the world, it is difficult for camera crews to  get out and about to film new shows. That isn’t stopping TLC though. This new show will be self-shot by the stars and we couldn’t be more excited about this new series.

TLC’s Newest ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spinoff: 90 Day Fiance Shows

There have been some 90 Day Fiancé shows already shot during the pandemic and it looks like there will be more. We saw 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantine and then 90 Day Fiancé: B90 Strikes Back! Now it looks like there will be two new 90 Day Fiancé shows in the middle of the pandemic.

The president of TLC, Howard Lee, told fans, “There are probably one or two more shows that we are actively working on. We always want to check in on our fans to ensure that we’re not getting past the tipping point or saturation and that this is something that they’d want to see and so far we’ve been really fortunate that they’re still finding these projects compelling.”

Lee went onto say, “We’re OK if it’s a docu-follow or if it’s social experiment, we’re very much open to that. If it’s just plain old dating, it has to be extraordinary, there has to be a hook. We’re open arms for anything like that. The casting, at the end of the day, has to be compelling.

We’re looking for real people, they don’t have to be glamorous but they could be, they could be from the East Coast or West Coast or any part of America, physically they could be any size, shape, or form, TLC is representative of who our audience looks like.”

The first show that we know is premiering is 90 Day Fiancé: HEA Strikes Back. This show will be all about the couples from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. They will get the chance to watch their shows back and comment on what was going on in the scenes and how the fans reacted to it all.

TLC wants to ensure fans that this is a show they will tune in for. “It’s very important that we don’t just create a spin-off or sequel just for the sake of it. We want to make sure that we’re not just ripping ourselves off, franchise after franchise,” said Howard Lee.

If you love 90 Day Fiancé the way that we do, make sure that you tune into 90 Day Fiancé: HEA Strikes Back! It airs on October 5 at 9 p.m. EST.
