Kim Plath, best known for being the star of “Welcome to Plathville”, was reportedly arrested for driving under influence.

According to reports, the charges relate to an incident that had occurred in June of this year. During the course of the process, the police had allegedly found that her car was upside down and filled with water as it lay in a ditch.
It is claimed that the 50-year-old smelt of alcohol and was then taken to a hospital in order to make sure that she got medical treatment. And once her blood tests came back, they all but confirmed that she was driving under influence.
The authorities subsequently executed a warrant for her DUI charge on Thursday, 8th September 2022. Thereafter, Kim apparently handed herself in as she was then later released. To add insult to injury, the charges apparently included personal injury and property damage.
This is the last thing that Kim needed to go through, especially given the issues in her personal life recently. The arrest arrived on the back end of her divorcing her husband, Barry Plath. And given that they had been together for more than two decades, this was understandably a very difficult period for her to adjust.
Not only that, but they just so happened to share 10 children together. With that being said, it was a tough decision to part ways. In the joint statement given at the time of the split, the duo remarked: “While this was not an easy decision, we know it’s the best choice for both of us.
“We have been through many highs and lows in our 24 years of marriage and as we navigate this new chapter in our lives, we will co-parent our amazing children.” Hopefully, Kim is able to put this behind her and move on. And that is the most important thing to remember going forward.
