TLC ‘Welcome To Plathville’ spoilers finds that with all the things that have been going on in the world lately, DSD was sleeping on one thing, and that is the announcement of Season 2 of Welcome to Plathville.
I’m literally so mad at myself for not knowing until just now that Season 2 has been confirmed, but that being said I am so excited because I’ve been wondering what on earth has been going on with this family in the past year since they’ve been off-camera.
Recently, Olivia Plath posted on instagram her love of Taylor Swift’s new album, a decidedly not fundie musical choice. I haven’t listened to the album yet but it’s been compared to 1989 as far as how good it is, and according to Olivia quite a few songs on the album had her moved to tears.
Her latest IG post hinted at some emotional upheaval so of course one has to wonder what has gone on in the family because while these IG updates are more or less frequent, they are kind of vague. Unlike the cast of 90 day, the cast of Plathville doesn’t seem like the type to violate NDA’s so aside from the vague posts with significant others, I don’t think we should expect anything too explosive from them.

At least not until filming begins, and then it’s anyone’s guess as to what could happen. It looks like we might see Micah and Moriah actually breaking free this season because according to all of their social media it looks like that’s basically what they’ve done.
Moriah is with a boy who is definitely not of the fundamentalist persuasion, and Micah is with a girl who seems to have nothing to do with that world as well. Micah has also been observed on Tindr as well, so whether or not he’s still with said girl is anyone’s guess. He could just be playing the field for awhile, and that’s perfectly okay.
Will there be a wedding on Plathville Season 2? There might be, but it won’t be of a Plath. No, Lydia has not gotten matched to anyone, but over the summer Lydia was at another Fundamentalist Family’s place, the Rodrigues’s and their eldest daughter, Nurie, is getting married.
The family that Nurie married into is the Keller’s, which some of you might know are related to The Duggars, a prominent TLC fixture. Whether TLC filmed this wedding or not, is up in the air, it’s been rumored that the July 25th wedding date was chosen because the Rodrigues’s knew that Plathville would be filming, but we don’t know that for sure. The only thing we do know is that we have a second season… and I’m here for it. Stay tuned!!!
