TLC ‘Welcome to Plathville’ spoilers finds that looks like our favorite fundamentalist (or should I say ex-fundamentalist now?) girl has gone and gotten herself hooked up! Now that Moriah Plath has moved out of the Plath family farm it looks like she has embraced a more secular, normal lifestyle.
She had started to do so before outright leaving home by embracing a lot of the secular fashion, makeup, and music and by desiring to have a life beyond getting married as soon as she was an adult and wanting to go to college. She also wanted to go on a trip to San Francisco with sister in law Olivia Plath that was the subject of much consternation among her family. They thought that Olivia was going to come back radicalized with ideas that flew directly in the face of their strict Christian lifestyle but instead Olivia was just a chill as she ever was. She did say of the LGBT community that God calls us to ‘love’ first, a surprisingly woke statement from one so young who had been brought up in such a lifestyle. She’s learning.
TLC ‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers: Moriah Plath has a boyfriend!
Now it seems that she has a new boyfriend and he is a looker too! He also does not seem to be of the fundamentalist persuasion at all, which I’m sure has Ma and Pa Plath’s head spinning, but since she is no longer under their roof she is no longer subject to their rules. There is also the subject of her sister Lydia Plath. I know that obviously Olivia would approve of her choice of boyfriend but I wonder what Lydia thinks? Sadly we will probably never know because Lydia is pretty quiet when it comes to social media. But maybe if there’s a second season of Welcome to Plathville we could find out. (Fingers crossed!)

This new guy in Moriah’s life is named Max and he looks to be one of the models at the agency that she visited. In one of his posts on his IG, Mac pokes fun at the fundie lifestyle a bit in one of the phtoshoot pictures he has up of him with another girl (previous to being with Moriah) saying that he only met his wife 8 hours before the wedding. Hah! Good one, Max. (Considering how these circles work that could be considered a long engagement.) In one of his most recent IG photos however he has Moriah wrapped around him in a bikini and he says he isn’t complaining tagged with Morah’s signature red and black hearts. Moriah commented back that she was not letting go, tagged with the same red and black hearts. We’re so happy for Moriah and hope that she continues on her path of happiness. Stay tuned!!!
