Jinger and Jeremy are very excited about their new podcast and so far, their fans love it. Jinger posted about the response they have gotten, “Jer and I have been a bit overwhelmed by the positive feedback and support you’ve given for the new podcast!” The couple seems to have shared a lot of great news lately and they just announced that they are having another baby. It will be a girl and the couple is thrilled about it. After suffering from a miscarriage last year, Jinger and Jeremy have a lot to be grateful for right now and the podcast is a big part of that.

There has been some backlash from the podcast though. The podcast is all about their father and how God has helped them in their everyday life. They are happy to take questions from their listeners and they are also happy to take donations. That’s correct, they have asked their listeners for donations. After posting about their podcast on social media, followers on Instagram had a lot to say. “Must be hard work not having jobs and begging for donations all the time. You guys look exhausted.”
As far as work is concerned, Jinger is some sort of ambassador and gets paid from Instagram posts. Jeremy is working as a pastor. The podcast will just be additional income for them once they get sponsors and are able to run ads for those sponsors. Podcasting can pay off once you get enough listeners and get companies interested in placing ads on the show.
So why do you think they are asking for donations? There are a few reasons actually. Perhaps they do need upgraded podcasting equipment or they want to build a good website. Maybe they want to build a podcasting studio onto their house. The options are limitless with these two, but do you think they are getting donations from their listeners? From looking at the replies, it seems like people could be on the fence about donating especially in such a tough time for the economy. We wish Jinger and Jeremy well with this podcast venture.
