A quick glance at Jill Duggar’s Instagram page shows that she and her husband Derick really have a lot to look forward to in the future. Sharing one photo of Derick with their two young sons Israel David and Samuel Scott, she captioned it with, “And….one hour ago this handsome papa wrapped up his second year of law school! Whoop! Whoop! Now he’s on “break” for a couple weeks before summer classes and job start!”

While over 32 million Americans are grappling with unemployment, Derick apparently has a job waiting for him in the wings, much to the surprise of fans everywhere. If that weren’t enough, Jill and Derick are still visiting their relatives and Derick’s parents with their kids with apparently no regards to social distancing measures, either. In another post that includes her son Samuel Scott visiting with Derick’s mother, Jill wrote, “We went to see Mima (@cldilla ) & Bawpaw today while Derick worked on finals! We walked to the boat ramp and had a picnic lunch together.”
So far Jill Duggar herself has not made any comments about the criticism, but fans are still perplexed over how the reality television star continues to live her family life while millions of people from all across the country are making huge changes to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. As of press time, there have been 1.26 million confirmed cases in the United States, with a death toll of 74,595. That number is expected to continue growing in the coming weeks.
