TLC ‘Counting On’ spoilers finds that we haven’t heard too much about the Duggar’s cousin, Amy Duggar. There seems to be a history of intense drama between her and Jim Bob Duggar and many fans think that is why she keeps her distance from the family. It is completely understandable because Jim Bob can come off as a bit brash at times. There have been rumors that he has even called her the “black sheep” of their family and wants her to stay away from the family. There’s been a switch in his attitude lately though. Now that she has a child, he suddenly wants to see her or at least, that’s what the rumors say.

Amy has been keeping her distance from the Duggar family due to the intense drama that she has endured from Jim Bob. Rumors have stated that she does stay away because she is not part of the fundamentalist religion that the Duggars belong to. This has put a big rift in their relationship. By not being a part of their religion, Jim Bob thinks that she isn’t part of their community and family. She has made the choice to do her own thing and practice what she believes.

The Duggar children do get to see Amy when they have large family functions. They love seeing her and catching up with her and now that she has a baby, it seems that they want to see her even more. Amy and Joy-Anna Duggar are actually neighbors and they hang out quite a bit. We never see it on social media because Jim Bob would be angered by this. He is afraid that her television watching habits will wear off on his children! Amy also has been linked to keeping up with Jill and Derick Dillard and many fans think that she is chiming in on the tell-all book that Derick is writing! Could this be why Jim Bob doesn’t like her?
After Amy gave birth to her baby, Daxton, the Duggar family posted on Instagram about it. They posted, “We loved spending time with little cousin Daxton King! It’s hard to take turns when you’re holding a baby that is so precious and CUTE!”
Well, it seems like the Duggars are back to welcoming Amy back into the family now that baby Daxton is here. Maybe we will start to see her on the show a little more or maybe she will continue to keep her life private.
