TLC ‘Counting On’ spoilers finds that the Duggars have had a tough go of things when it comes to the lawsuits against them. One of these lawsuits is against Josh Duggar. In 2015, there was a police report that was leaked and in it, there were the details of his molestation charges. The Duggar family said that they took care of the lawsuit internally, still Josh was not allowed to ever be on 19 Kids and Counting again. That also led to show getting cancelled. For everyone that was listed in that police report, several woman, including some Duggar daughters and Josh, they feel that their privacy was invaded and wanted something done about it. The four Duggar women who were listed in the report sued public officials for releasing the details of the report and this week, they got some bad news. The case was dismissed.

When the police reports were leaked, they went to InTouch Weekly magazine. The judges in these lawsuits told the women that the original documents did not include their names and that even if they did, the information was public and it could be published anywhere. This case will go back to the district court and they will make a decision about it this week. Things with the case have been pushed back a lot due to factors such as the Coronavirus lockdown.

Josh also filed a lawsuit about the allegations against him and he told the courts that this was an invasion of his privacy and the records of the molestation charges should have never been released. He told judges that it caused him “mental anguish and substantial loss in income.” Guess he should have thought about that before he decided to molest young girls…

When the judges made the final decision on Josh’s cases, they decided that he did not show any of these signs that he pointed out and if he is on television, his privacy has already been invaded and if his life wasn’t already so public, he wouldn’t have had this problem to begin with. He was very upset with their decision, but fans of the show understand why the judges made the decisions that they did. The Duggars are coming back! The new season of Counting On will premiere on July 7 on TLC. You can keep up with how they managed to get through the pandemic, all five of the births of Duggar babies, and Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo’s journey to California.
