TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days’ spoilers finds that recently, Usman Umar went to his social media to apologize to his friends and fans for an insult that fiance Lisa Hamme called him. Apparently Lisa stooped so low as to call Usman the n-word and his followers were very concerned about his emotional well-being. Usman seems to be okay for the most part. His social media post was mainly focusing on his followers and their emotional healthy by apologizing to them for what Lisa said to him.

I can only hope that Lisa Hamme herself has a follow-up apology post because… really, Lisa? it’s 2020, the n-word term does not, nor will it ever need, to be bandied about in reference to anyone, but especially someone whom you consider your husband and life partner, someone who you are supposed to respect and love with all of your heart. In my mind, hauling off and calling someone the n-word does not reflect respect, love, or any sort of healthy relationship in any way and I feel sorry for Usman if he feels he has to put up with that.

TLC ’90 Day Fiancé : Before The 90 Days’ Spoilers – What do you have to apologize for, Usman?!

There are a ton of American Women (if that’s what he’s after) who would never resort to that kind of name-calling. Also, apologizing for your significant other’s behavior is a hallmark of an abusive relationship. You should not feel the need to apologize for your significant other’s behavior to other people. This is the equivalent of the 1950’s battered housewife who apologizes for her rowdy, drunk husband at her fancy dinner party. She should not have to, he started throwing the dishes and making an ass of himself, he should be the one to apologize.

TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days’ Spoilers Same goes for Lisa.

Just because she is a white, american ‘female’ (quoting her here) does not give her the right to haul off and call anyone the n-word. She did say that she did not agree to being anyone’s obedient ‘wife’ but obedience is not the same as respect and this term? It’s a clear term of disrespect. Lisa should know better, you would think that she grew up in the back woods of some southern state but no, she grew up in the wilds of Pennsylvania. I know a few people from Pennsylvania and trust me, 0% of them are like that but I suppose Lisa just, in my Grandmother’s terms “didn’t have the raising” it takes to respect another human being.

So, if anything, Lisa should be the one apologizing here, not Usman. You have nothing to apologize for Usman, you did nothing to deserve that leve of disrespect. Your followers understand and that’s why they are reaching out to you. We at DSD do not condone racism of any kind, and hope that Usman can find peace and healing from his experience. Boy what a tell-all this is going to be. Stay tuned!!!
