TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: What Did Mursel Actually Think Was Going To Happen?

TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that upon watching the developments of the show last week concerning Anna and Mursel, the whole story begs the question – what did Mursel actually think was going to happen? He was a big enough man to strike out on his own and come to the US for 90 days and…   he actually told his parents in the beginning or if he actually told them anything at all.

But okay, say he was truthful and he told them he was going to the US to broke with this girl that he was going to marry. The man is 38 years old, did they actually think that anyone outside of extremist circles was going to not have had some kind of relationship before? Or was it just the child factor? Mursel should have thought about all of this clearly before he even purchased a plane ticket, but it looks like he wasn’t thinking clearly at all. I get it, love does strange things to people and can make them literally move mountains to be with each other but Mursel needed to put out feelers long before he went to the US. I agree with what little Leo (Anna’s son) said, that in the end, he needed to stand up to his parents and indeed tell them “I’m a grown-up, I can manly do things.”

Culture or not, it looks like Mursel doesn’t have the emotional maturity it takes to do this. I am thinking that this could possibly be the first time that Mursel has ever left the nest and that he doesn’t want to rock the boat too much for fear that he won’t have a nest to return to. The thing is he wants to marry Anna, he wants this to work out but he said to himself that he is not going to go up against his parents. I can understand not wanting to upset them, I can understand wanting to be on good terms and to have them be proud of you but ultimately it’s Mursel’s life.

It’s really depressing when you realize that a kid who is 8 years old has more hutzpah than a 38-year-old man. I felt sorry for Anna’s other son as well because he thought Mursel was going to be around as a male influence in his life and now that’s all shot to hell because Mursel lost the showdown. And Anna’s Mom is just done, and all she wants to do is get Mursel the heck out of dodge and out of her daughter’s life. Something tells me that in regards to relationship drama that this is not her first rodeo. She had a gut feeling, as all Mom’s do, that things weren’t going to go well for Mursel and Anna. The rest of us had that feeling too but we were hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Not this time.
