TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers tease that Jay Smith has come out discussing a few things that occurred during his season on the show. Apparently, Jay’s barbershop owners were paid to tell Ashley Martson about how he had been cheating on her. The 90 Day Fiancé couple divorced several months ago, and they are living their own lives, but Jay wanted people to hear his side of the story too.
Season 6 introduced us to Jay Smith and Ashley Martson. The lovely couple met in Jamaica while Ashley was on vacation there. The couple was married, but clearly the happiness did not last very long. Soon after the two were married, Jay’s habits reared their ugly head.

Jay began cheating on Ashley once he was living in the U.S. On 90 Day Fiancé: Happily, Ever After, the couple’s chaotic marriage was highlighted. Ashley Martson decided to file for a divorce. She also refused to change the immigration status, so he was not eligible for a green card.
In July of last year, Jay was arrested. He was given to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He was there for about a month. He is now just waiting to hear the verdict of his case. Jay Smith has discussed how he was not very happy about how TLC made him look like a bad guy. He felt like it was not a truthful portrayal of the man is really is.
Smith has made several claims that there were scenes that were made up by the crew. Jay also makes the claim that the GQ Barber Shop was paid $500 each to tell Martson about a mystery lady in the bathroom. Whatever happened, we have seen that Ashley made the decision to get divorced and it is probably for the best, considering she has two children.
There is no telling what other chaos could have ensued if she would have stayed married to him. No matter what, we wish them both well.
