TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers Okay reveal that we just got the early premier of the Darcey and Stacey show and so far… it looks to be pretty interesting. They went into some facts that we didn’t actually know about the twins, but then again, you might know a few of these little factoids if you followed their social media. I don’t, so it was all new to me! So let us begin.
First off, they were born and raised in Connecticut. That was a bit of a surprise for me because the two definitely gave off more of an NYC vibe but maybe that’s just their fashion sense. There’s something definitely NYC-ish about them but I guess it could be the sense of fashion alone.

To me, Darcey and Stacey always gave off the vibe of being the ‘it girls’ in high school but as it turns out I could not be further from the truth on that one. In fact they said that in high school they were not thought of as pretty at all and that boys did not date them. Huh!
There were a few pictures of the junior Silva Twins floating around through the show and they were not at all what I was expecting. Turns out, they’re not natural blondes at all, they’re actually very brunette. While I always had my sneaking suspicions because hey let’s face it, Darcey was a Brunette in the first season of 90 day fiance, I guess I just didn’t expect that exact shade of brunette. Hair aside, however..
Their Dad came on the show, apparently he lives in China for most of the year and only comes back 1-2 times a year but this year he came back to the US because of Coronavirus. He gave some insight to the twins personality as well, out of the two he said that Darcy was the most demanding twin, and that while Stacey can be demanding, there comes a time when she can shut that off. So I guess you could say that Darcey got a little more of the “Karen” gene in that respect.
They both admitted to having a type, which I have long suspected. They both like younger, foriegn men. They said that their Dad seems to have similar tastes seeing as right now his girlfriend is chinese but they also said that he tends to like ‘foriegn women’ which casts a much broader net than just the women he’s dating now. They joked about their taste in people being hereditary, something I kind of rolled my eyes about but hey maybe we can’t all be science majors.
One thing that might not be all that new to a few of you that follow their social media is that they released a song a couple of years ago called “lock your number on your phone” but I literally never heard of this song. She said it was done around the time that she and Jesse broke up which would have been around 3 years ago, but Iliterally never heard any buzz around it.
I guess TLC didn’t do much (if any) promotion for it. They played it for Darcey’s daughters who were raving about TikTok and how much they loved that platform but the two were not interested. Stacey had to call her down from rocking out at the dinner table while her daughters looked on in horror.
It’ll be interesting to see what the rest of this new series sheds light on, it looks like there’s going to be a lot of what Stacey and Darcy are good at in the upcoming episodes, and that is relationship drama. We here at DSD will keep you updated. Stay tuned!!!
