TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Before The 90 Days finds that we are willing to understand Stephanie ‘Stepanka’ Matto’s intimacy issues because right now she is on a medication that is a literal sexual suppressant in order to stop her periods. Okay. We understand, but there is a time physical intimacy is not just sexual. There is a time whe it can be an emotional tool as well. Case in point, in the upcoming episode there is a scene that starts out with Stephanie apologizing to Erika about not being all ready to hold her hand and basically be all over here but she’s expecting too much because they’ve only known each other four days. Okay.
Erika Owens however points out that in actuality they’ve known each other four months and it’s not registering to her how those four months now mean nothing to Stephanie (I can see both sides of the story here.) and it’s like they’re starting over from scratch. In this moment you have to feel for Erika because she starts crying and says that she just wants someone to feel excited about being around her. At this point you would expect Steph to embrace her girlfriend or at the very least pat her on the back, but no, she sits there through Erika’s entire emotional breakdown and just doesn’t do anything. Rather she just looks perturbed.

Before this scene, Erika had said that Stephanie had been having jealousy issues so perhaps Stephanie’s standoffishness was related to that. But if Erika deleted the dating app, then there would be no reason to be jealous, right? Unless there was some other form of social media that Steph is concerned about, and honestly… being a social media person herself, I can’t see where Stephanie is all that jealous over stuff like that. Did she expect Erika’s life to suddenly be sucked up into pocketspace and her entire world to just start revolving around her? Because if so, it would seem that she and Baby Girl Lisa have the same problem, and that isn’t healthy.
Aside from healthy, Stephanie really doesn’t seem all that into Erika. I think she was more into the idea of going to Australia and meeting new people and having an experience rather than really connecting with Erika herself. It looks to me like she moved on about the second day she was there. Yes, granted, Erika’s idea of a second date was really, really strange (don’t get me started on the breast molds again), but it seems to me that Stephanie just wanted a cool experience, not a girlfriend. Oh well, this is just a preview of the upcoming episode, we’ll get the whole story soon. Stay tuned!!!
