TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ spoilers find that you may be a bit familiar with Deavan Clegg. She is an American woman who fell for a man, Jihoon Lee, who lives in South Korea. The two met face to face and got married. She is now living in South Korea and the two of them will be featured on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in June. Deavan gets a lot of backlash for her lifestyle and her parenting skills. She decided to hold a question and answer session on Instagram to clear some things up for her fans.

Deavan posts on social media very frequently and when she held this session, her 300,000 followers were excited. She told them to ask whatever she wanted. One fan asked her, “What do you think was the biggest misconception about your story on the show?” She told them, “That I don’t know anything about Korean culture. I really love Korean culture and I felt like it wasn’t shown on the show.”

On the first season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, we saw Deavan take a trip to South Korea. She moved in with Jihoon and his parents and the situation was very awkward. The first trip that she took to see him was a bit different and she did not get their blessing when she went back to America. According to the show, she didn’t know a lot about the culture there. “I don’t know if his parents avoided me, but we never had time to sit down and discuss something, so I never got their blessing. I left Korea as if I wasn’t good enough for their son in their eyes.” His parents actually came to America and they got to spend time with her and gave her their blessing in the end.
They now have an adorable son together and Jihoon has been helping her raise her daughter from a previous relationship. There have been a lot of jealousy issues with these two, but so far, they are going strong in their marriage. Aside from not getting a chance to fly out and see her family during the quarantine, these two have kept it together really well.
