TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers indicate Stacey brought up at dinner with her sister (and boyfriend Florian) that Tom had mentioned that she needed therapy, and we all know how that little revelation went down, it went down like a lead balloon.
Up until now, I had previously thought that Stacey was on her sister’s side, but after hauling off and saying that Tom had a point, I’m beginning to wonder. Yes, she did take up for her sister and tell Tom to back off but at the same time, it’s not her place, even if she does agree, to tell Darcey that she needs therapy – especially at the request of Tom!

Thing is, that’s probably exactly what Tom wanted to happen, so congratulations Stacey, you played yourself. When he kept contacting Stacey he wanted her to be the go-between between him and Darcy because he thought of Stacey as the more reasonable one of the two, he wanted her to pass this information along to Darcey because he knew that this would be pressing Darcey’s buttons.
Now, I don’t know if this is going to happen or not, because we’re still early in the season but I’m thinking that Tom’s grand plan was to get Darcey so mad at him that she contacted him again, even if it was just to yell at him, it would have still been the attention that he craved. So far, it looks like Darcey is not bitin, so good for her.
TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: She has a point though.
Whether or not she chooses to see a therapist sbout her ‘problems’ should be a decision that is made by Darcey alone. Also, I don’t really see why Darcey needs therapy at this point. People go through break-ups every day and they don’t need therapy to get through them or to move forward.
Darcey seems to be moving forward just fine, the only reason she would be seeking therapy at this point would be at the request of Tom, and that’s a lot of control to give another person. What did Tom think, that therapy was going to mold Darcey into a woman that he’d actually respect, or maybe one that would lower her expectations in order to accept the fact that he likes to fool around with other women? Because that’s the only read I’m getting from that.
Stacey, as much as I like her, I’m just going to say that she’s completely wrong here. No, there’s nothing wrong with talking to someone if you feel you have a problem, but Darcey’s not shown any of the problems that she or Tom were implying, so they can lay off. Poor Darcey. Stay tuned!!!
