TLC 90 Day Fiancé spoilers: Before the 90 Days finds that David Murphey, is an intriguing character… okay maybe not so much intriguing as, we wonder just what his motivations are behind his relationship with his Ukrainian girlfriend, Lana. At first glance, David is reminiscent of those memes that were popular a couple of years ago about the Boomer that hadn’t been unemployed since 1982. But upon further investigation of his social media, it seems that there’s a little more to David than meets the eye. Self-admittedly, he says he’s done very well for himself. He wants to buy an RV and travel around and he plans on doing that as soon as he nails down the location of the infamous Lana, marries her, and then they can embark on their life together.
It looks like he’s lived in Nevada all his life, went to Upland High School (according to his facebook) and on facebook at least he has no shortage of women following him. He seems to freely add people on facebook as well and quite a lot of people have commented, asking if he’s okay and wishing for his wellbeing.

Recently someone even commented that they took a course in Ukrainan at Yale years ago and could still speak the language, even offering to rent a car for Lana. As of less than a day ago he was still adding people to facebook as friends, so I think by that token, he probably survived his trip to Pavhlorad, however he still has the “its complicated” up for his relationship status so I will assume that he’s still with Lana, at least at the time of this writing.
On instagram his posts are a little bit more sparse, but on his latest one we see Stepanka commenting on it, saying his “Mmm” hat that his female co-worker gave him was iconic, so I wonder what that could possibly mean? Right now he has 1,868 followers on ‘the gram’ as Yolanda calls it and only 10 posts. One of his posts was dated for March 8th and he was wishing all the women out there a happy international women’s day, so since he was directing it at all women could that possibly mean that he’s single? Just wondering.
But the thing is about David, like all Scorpios (apparently his birthday is November 7th) he is a mystery, wrapped in an enigma. From his social media, you can’t really tell what he does, or if he had a previous family or really, anything. I mean, he gives off definite Dad and perhaps even Grandad vibes and I get the feeling that he has family, even if they’re not his direct children, that cares about him somewhere, but they just don’t seem to be in his life, or at least not on his social media, anywhere. And so far, David is not talking about his past… any of it! Maybe it’ll take having that conversation with Lana for him to open up? Stay tuned!!!
