TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Before the 90 Days reveal there are rumors swirling that apparently Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar did indeed get married, however there are also rumors that this marriage had maybe the same length as Britney Spears’ first marriage, which was like, what, a minute and a half? Anyway, so on Lisa’s social media recently there seemed to be a lot of trouble in paradise. Her calling him out for his hygeine habits namely, which okay, is valid after they’re married. People can learn to compromise. But then came the admission from Usman that he ‘slept in the bed with another man’ and that he is probably bisexual.

In fact, in a recent conversation with his followers, when straight up asked if he was bisexual he typed in all capital letters YES. Alright, okay, his sexual identity is valid, but did he ever think to tell Lisa about that before she traveled all the way to Nigeria and slept with him ‘in the raw’ as it were? Is there something in Nigerian culture stating that it doesn’t count as cheating if it’s with the same sex? What’s going on with that because I don’t entirely get why they would not have had that conversation before traveling 7,000 miles to meet each other.

While I feel for Lisa if he did indeed cheat on her, she has a leg up on this situation, she can fly back to the US and be as free as she likes to date whomever. Usman however may have made a detrimental mistake in just admitting who he is. In Nigeria LGBT men and women do not have rights and will likely be discriminated against harshly just for living their truth. Right now, as far as we know, Usman cannot travel to the US in order to be able to live his truth because of the travel ban that’s in existence now. He may find sanctuary in other countries, but for right now, I fear for his very life, and rightfully so.

If it came down to a case of cheating, it was not Lisa’s fault. Yes she was fearful and far too controlling of Usman, but ultimately if he cheated then he had a choice and he made the wrong one. If he really loved Lisa like he said he did then he needed to abide by those words and love only her because it’s obvious that Lisa did not sign on for an open relationship. I feel kind of bad for her at this point. But we don’t exactly have all the details… what exactly happened? We don’t know.
