TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: ‘Before The 90 Days’ – David Gets Punked – Do We Feel Sorry For Him?

TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: ‘Before the 90 days’ finds that we don’t think we feel as sorry for anyone as we do David Murphey from Before the 90 days. He has tried to meet Lana four times in Ukraine, he’s always come and she has always bailed on him and this last time was no different. He has always said that the previous time she’s always had a reason, like one time she had to have emergency surgery and the next time her brother unexpectedly died, okay those are completely unexpected, potentially legit, events. But this time, there was no reason given. David was stuck at a train station, wearing his best purple shirt, looking for a beautiful, blonde Russian model type in a blue dress who never showed up.

I’ll say this, the ‘blue dress’ came up as a red flag for me because that’s about as nondescript as you can get. Also when she said that she didn’t remember the exact train number or the station or anything and when he got there he didn’t recognize any of the towns. Also, there was no train coming at the time that she told him. There had been one literally 30 minutes prior and he thought she could have meant that time but the more he looked around, the more he realized that Lana was just not coming. She wasn’t there. So he had to literally find an internet cafe to try and contact her and she was not on the site.

Another thing that was weird is that she said it would take a 2-day train ride to get from where she lived to Odessa. I seriously do not know how trains work, I’ve never been on one in my life, but a 2-day train ride to me tells me that she lives in an entirely different country. And if that be the case then why not give him a train depot that was closer than Odessa to show up at? If she actually wants to meet this guy, but that’s the thing about Lana, I don’t think she actually wants to meet David.

I think whatever website David met Lana on is not legit. I think they pay a bunch of models to string lonely guys like David along and they pay them to chat with these guys (because David said that you only got to chat with the girls if you paid) and that this is probably the girls’ primary source of income. If one of them up and got married then that would be the end of the source of income because the guys would stop paying to chat with women eventually because they would probably meet and marry the ones that they paid to chat with in the first place.

I feel sorry for David because he gives off a very boomer vibe. He is from a different time, a time where people kept their word and didn’t ghost people and actually gave reasons as to why they were late or absent. He’s not familiar with hookup culture and even though he has every right to be suspicious of a lot of the things that Lana has told him, he hasn’t been… at least not until now. He got angry this time because Lana stood him up, no excuses, no phone call, no anything.

I think Lana is probably already married to a Russian man and probably even maybe has children. Participating in this website is what she does to earn cash. She doesn’t think about anyone actually falling in love with her or about how they might come to Russia to see her, in fact, she may get higher pay in order to bring people to Russia. Who knows? I do not know how this website works, I’m only speculating. The only thing I know so far is that she doesn’t take this seriously at all and is an expert at playing with people’s feelings. I’m glad that David at least had one friendly face, Anya, to meet up with while he was there so that he wouldn’t feel completely alone, but I can’t help but feel sad for him and how absolutely naive he’s being. This girl is obviously not real. He should image search every picture she sends him now because they might just be someone who’s the picture she stole off Instagram. You never know. Stay tuned!!!
