TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’ spoilers finds that Andrei and Asulu have both had their problems over the course of filming for 90 day fiancé happily ever after. Andrei initially had problems being open with Libby and her family and picking fights, and Asuelu’s problem seemed to be his penchant for picking fights and his male chauvanist attitude.
He had promised Kalani that he was going to change all of that, but Kalani said that now, most of the time that Asuelu still only did the outside house work while she was relegated to the household, indoor chores, and probably taking care of the kids. She said that while Asuelu originally agreed to help out more with the chores that he would normally deem “her” area, apparently he still only does this sometimes.

Andrei on the other hand says that he has no problem taking care of his daughter while Libby goes out and works for the family. He says he doesn’t mind helping out on chores that would normally be considered “woman’s” work and that he thinks that when it comes to taking care of his daughter he doesn’t think anyone could take care of her better than he could with maybe the exception of Mom, Libby.
He said that he really has no concept of “the man” of the house because he feels like the roles should be equal, and I think that’s possibly the best answer he could have given. For someone who previously claimed to be an Alpha male he seems to be more well-rounded now.
Asuelu was awfully silent during this whole conversation, perhaps that is because he wasn’t present for that part. I mean, what on earth was he doing, playing Call of Duty in the next room while Kalani handled everything? Or maybe he was just off raking apples.
Or perhaps figuring out how to convert all that tiktok money to paypal cash so he could send it to his family back in Samoa, I mean, there’s all sorts of things he could be doing that wouldn’t involve directly addressing how he wasn’t doing his therapy homework, but I digress.
Now Libby had some tea and said that Andrei wasn’t actually doing as much as he claimed to be, but Andrei was quick to shut that down and said that Libby was the one who was lying. Also, Libby seems to have a way more traditional set of family values than Andrei does.
She thinks that whomever makes the money has the most say in the relationship, how very 1950’s housewife of you, Libby! Also she seemed to be taking her family’s side a lot here, what was up with that? Begs the question of there had been some pre tell-all fighting between those two, but who knows? There was definite tension between Andrei and Libby’s family still.
But it it were going to come down to a competition between Aseulu and Andrei, I think Andrei, at least mentality wise, has the guy beat. Hey, if the thing with Libby doesn’t work out, and Kalani ends up single, maybe those two could hook-up? Hey, just a thought. Stay tuned!!!
