TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 days’ Tell-All spoilers finds that we found out that Stephanie Matto, in spite of the getting onto Erika Owens for having a dating app on her phone, Stephanie had racy Instagram messages from guys and instead of fending off these guys by saying “Sorry, I’m in a relationship now.” there were messages like, “Come to Florida and we’ll get married.” So when it comes to the whole cheating thing like Stephanie was crying about the entire time, methinks the lady doth protest too much.
She accused Erika of putting up a fake business profile. But how on earth is that worse than replying to messages on Instagram, a platform that isn’t even geared toward business (which by the way bumble, biz is, and that is what Erika had on her phone.), that is just a regular Instagram where creepy dudes send you DMs all the time and tell you you’re hot? How is that any worse? At least Erika is a legit photographer and a certain percentage of her contacts on this app will end in a completely business-oriented non-sexual hookup. With Steph, aside from brand deals where she is touting some kind of vitamins or tea you just don’t get that from Instagram.
TLC ’90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 days’ Tell-All Spoilers – Double Standards Much, Steph?
Also Stephanie basically locked Erika out of their hotel suite by the third day. After they had the fight on their second night together Stephanie asked Erika not to stay in the same room as her which is just… odd. No wonder Erika was upset and crying the entire time they were together! She maintained that the issues that they had were not about sex, but rather about the fact that Stephanie basically shut her out the entire time they were together, and that was not fair. Stephanie never came back and told her that the freeze out was over and Erika, in an attempt to respect her boundaries, did not ask to be let back in the room.
Stephanie claims that Erika did not try and ask enough details about her but honestly it sounds like Stephanie got mad because Erika didn’t roll out the red carpet for her and give her the kind of attention that she wanted. It’s pretty clear that she wanted to be the “star” of the relationship and couldn’t stand the fact that Erika had her own life and was getting all the attention. At any time, Stephanie could have stopped Erika while she was scrolling through her phone and telling her about her life to talk about herself. She could have shifted the conversation onto her at any time but she did not, it sounds like Erika didn’t pry because of the boundaries Stephanie had put in place but Stephanie also didn’t meet her halfway and volunteer any information. Stephanie carefully engineered this so that Erika would end up looking like the bad guy. She knows how these things work, and let’s face it, we’ve all seen Mean Girls. Stephanie basically Regina George’d herself. Or at least that’s my take on it, stay tuned!!!
