Ash made it clear to Avery that he couldn’t afford to come and see her or get his visa because he was facing bankruptcy. This made the decision for her and she decided to visit him in Australia. When Ash told Avery that he couldn’t travel because of money, she told him that she would book a ticket and come to see him. So, she did! From what we have seen though, things are looking up for Ash.

Eyewitnesses saw Ash traveling to America to see Avery multiple times. A lot of fans got wind of this and now they think that Ash may not be bankrupt after all. Some people even think that TLC is making this whole story up to turn the relationship into a dramatic and intense one. Some fans think that there could be other reasons behind his traveling ban. One fan wrote, “I have never heard of anyone having their passport taken or denied due to bankruptcy.” An Australian fan wrote back, “I’m Australian and I can confirm that’s what happens here.”
